Sure, just contact us. We have various ways to help, including our “SAR Good Neighbor” program.
No! Friends and family of SAR members are strongly encouraged to volunteer. If you are new to the area or just visiting we encourage you to come down, meet some people and enjoy the race. Contact our volunteer coordinator for more information.
While race-day volunteers are the glue that holds events together, we also need help in other capacities. Volunteers run packet pick-up in the days preceding an event, can help with general office tasks, recruit sponsors and advertisers, write articles for the bi-monthly Roadrunner newsletter, lead group runs, or organize a social event. Another way to volunteer is by joining the SAR board. Let us know where your talents can be used to help the club.
