Who We Are
Our Mission: The Southern Arizona Roadrunners is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting health and fitness in Tucson and Southern Arizona through running and walking.

Your Sponsorship Impact
Your sponsorship contributes to the long-term financial sustainability of the Southern Arizona Roadrunners, allowing us to continue strengthening and supporting the Southern Arizona running and walking community.
Sponsorship Support:
- Keeps membership costs affordable by mitigating rising costs of necessary expenses (i.e. insurance, materials storage, supplies, website hosting, technology services)
- Allows for worn-out materials to be upgraded in order to provide positive, top-tier race experiences
- Helps us invest in professional services that increase SAR’s visibility and more widely promote our mission across Southern Arizona

Southern Arizona Roadrunners Club-Level Sponsorship Opportunities
We currently offer three Club-Level Sponsorship Packages: 5K, Half Marathon, and Marathon.
Sponsorship opportunities are offered for a 1 year term and applications are accepted year-round on a rolling basis. Click here to apply now.
5K Package ($4,000)
- One (1) short announcement highlighting your organization as a new sponsor, to be included in the first SAR general events email that goes out after sponsorship is secured
- Sponsor acknowledgment in subsequent email communications in the form of a hyperlinked logo
- A small sized hyperlinked logo placed in the Sponsors section of our Meet Our Partners and Sponsors web page
- A small sized logo placed in our quarterly newsletter: The Roadrunner
- A logo featured in a Sponsors carousel on the SAR website homepage
Half Marathon Package ($7,000)
- All the perks from the 5K Package, plus:
- One (1) seven-day feature in our “What’s New” section of the SAR website homepage announcing the sponsorship
- Upgraded medium logo size for the Sponsors section of our Meet Our Partners and Sponsors web page
- Upgraded medium logo size for the quarterly newsletter: The Roadrunner
- Four (4) additional short sponsorship highlights in SAR general events emails (totaling 5 over 12 months)
- Five (5) social media shout outs on SAR’s Facebook and/or Instagram accounts over 12 months
- Race-day expo tabling at four (4) SAR-owned races of your choosing

Southern Arizona Roadrunners is willing to work with interested sponsors to create mutually beneficial custom sponsorship packages. Pricing will be dependent upon package inclusions.
The sponsorship packages outlined above are examples only and are provisional; specific benefits and deliverables can be negotiated to suit sponsor objectives.

1 Available – Be the Presenting Sponsor of our Southern Arizona Roadrunners Newsletter: The Roadrunner ($5,000)
The Roadrunner is distributed to our membership on a quarterly basis. Print copies are mailed to over 600 households. Upon release, a digital copy is both featured in our “What’s New” section of the SAR website homepage and lives indefinitely on our online Newsletters web page.
1 Available – Sponsor our SAR RANnual Celebration Event (Pricing TBD)
The SAR RANnual Celebration is an evening event that SAR members attend for free (non-members pay a nominal fee). This is our organization’s time to celebrate the beginning of the new season, share what the coming year has in store for SAR, and take a look back at the previous year. We also announce the Spirit of Rob Bell Award recipients and honor The Running Shop SAR Grand Prix winners at this event.

Race-Specific Title or Presenting Sponsorships are offered per race, per calendar year. If you are interested in sponsoring a particular race, we’ll facilitate the process by connecting you to the appropriate Race Director.
